Partners in Patient Care
The Health Buddy system has been designed as an open system that can be used with many of the devices, applications, systems, and other resources currently used by healthcare providers. We are actively seeking Solution Partners to develop new or convert existing applications, content and hardware solutions for use with the Health Buddy system.
The following provides examples of the types of Solution Partners we are seeking.
Medical Device Manufacturers
The Health Buddy appliance has been designed to allow a variety of home medical devices to be directly connected so that the data can be transmitted to healthcare providers. Care providers will be able to receive this data from patients at home on a regular basis. The data from such medical devices will be accessed and used by authorized healthcare providers to better track and support patients, thus extending the reach and scope of the medical devices beyond the home.
Software Application Developers
Data collected through the Health Buddy Desktop provides numerous opportunities for Solution Partners to design applications for healthcare providers that take advantage of the wealth of timely data that can now be collected from patients. Interfaces can be designed to incorporate Health Buddy® Desktop data into existing applications, such as medical management systems, by adding remote patient telemedical and data capture capabilities.
Content Developers
Solution Partners can create and modify existing disease protocols or educational content to be used on the Health Buddy appliance.
